Surfing the Digital Wave: "Celebrate Japan Dolphins Day"

I wanted to share what I found to be a great resource! All the current events from around the world that are supporting September 1st "Celebrate Japan Dolphins Day". Ric O'Barry will be in Japan with other supporters. They will be meeting in Osaka and taking a Bus over to Taiji. This will be a peaceful prayer time for the dolphins that have died and are about to die. Since Taiji has increased their police patrol of 100 officers to be manned 24 hours per day this year will be interesting. Ric states that if the police turn them away from the cove they will leave peacefully.

September 1, 2011 is the start of the Taiji Dolphin Hunt. During the 2010-2011 drive hunt, the Taiji Fisheries Union killed 850 dolphins. An additional 171 were sold into captivity. Let's rally together at Japanese Embassies and Consulates around the globe to share a message of solidarity: JAPAN, LET THE DOLPHINS LIVE & BE FREE!!!
