As you read this entire post, realize that I’ve written it from a very unique
position, which gives me a very unique perspective that not many people
have...
A year ago I was flat broke...
I was not only fired from my corporate job, my wife was in the USA,
I was sleeping on people's couches, and then the job that fired me
was trying to screw me out of getting my Employment Insurance!
Are you kidding me!!
Before I ever got to this position I was volunteering a lot... I really mean
A LOT!! Every time I was not working I was planning, organizing, and
executing an event for either my ocean organization called Sea Shepherd
Conservation Society or it was a local sanctuary. Whatever it was
it was ALL of my time and I absolutely LOVED IT!
Over almost a decade I made 10's of thousands of dollars for many organizations,
I learned to public speak, organize events, become a leader, create a
global network, and my art not only developed throughout this period it
created my path.
I literally grew as a person, became empathetic to all beings and situations..
As I have said in early emails that I even spoke at an ocean fundraiser
as the host to over 300 people... something I would have never thought
I would ever do!!
THEN I lost the job that paid my bills and allowed me to utilize my TIME,
MONEY, Donate Art, All The Time for these charities starving for people
to give them their time.
Now losing my job literally fucked that all up!!
I still had organizations contacting me to donate, support, help out in
some way! I always said YES before.. now I have no money, no home, many
couches and luckily a handful of friends and family that could help me out!
Then I REALIZED! I have created this path without knowing what to do,
where I was going, and even if I had the skills! I just DID IT and watched
it unfold the skills I had within me that I didn't know I had!
So not only did a new country come into my life but a new START too!
As I needed to learn something I realized I can learn an online skill to
generate a living to allow me FREEDOM of TIME to do what I absolutely
LOVE and that is helping already established organizations helping
animals, people, and even the environment..
So my quest now is to do the opposite of what I did before.. Before I
worked in a corporate position, anchored to a desk for long 12hr nights/days
shifts.. while helping out on my only time off.. NOW I want to get this
online business moving to an autopilot position freeing up a lot
of time for me and keep the money coming in at the same time!! Why Not, right??
Wouldn't you want that! Freedom from an anchor to travel, watch your children
grow up, help your parents, etc! Maybe you also want to volunteer and help
out your local or a global charity you love so much!
I am all about the ocean and one day I will be on a Sea Shepherd Ship
out on the high seas protecting whales, dolphins, sharks, and life itself!
